Thoughts To Ponder,
I got these sayings from Dorians page. Please visit her wonderful site. It is listed under my favorite site below.
Breath of Rapture by Chelse Elliot
I wept for the love of you.
At the moment you penetrated my soul
my heart shattered into a
billion grains of joy.
Encircled in your arms our bodies and spirits connected.
I felt you lift me from the realm of earthly
consciousness,
and we soared on the rarefied breath of rapture. With kisses,
you licked the salty tears from my face,
swallowing the flood of my surrendering soul,
holding it inside your heart,
knowing it is a gift that you cannot take from me,
but
reverently share with me.
Waves crash over our heads,
I cling to you, trusting you will not let me drown.
In this glorious ocean of
rapture,
our bodies tumble with the fierce and gentle whims of the tide,
washed with saltwater and sand,
our love consolidates
into a shining stone.
My heart fills with unbearable gladness
to know pure love that flows and grows with each moment.
Contentedly buoyed in your arms... I float into sleep
Always take time to smell the rose.
Life is very short.
Do the
things that make you happy
before it is too late.
For a short
time the rose is beautiful.
How quickly the petals fall.
Life is
like that.
Comes the DAWN
After a while you learn
the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul
and you learn that love does not mean security
and you learn that kisses aren't contracts
and presents aren't promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes open
with the grace of a woman,
not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all your roads on today
because tomorrow's ground is now uncertain -
and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight.
After a while you learn
that even sunshine burns if you get too much.
So you plant your own garden
and decorate your own
soul,
instead of waiting
for someone else to bring you
flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure
that you really are strong
that you really do have worth
and you learn and learn.
With every good bye you learn...
Comes the Dawn.

I was a flower.
And you picked me,
And you took me home
And you set me on your mantle.
Perfect you say?
Yes, I was perfect.
I was young
and I was beautiful.
Look at me!
I'm dying
on your mantle.
Not young. Not beautiful.
And no, not perfect.
Growing wild and free,
I was a flower.
And you picked me.
Why?
My comment:
And I was so insecure that I stupidly let you Pick Me
and now I am paying an awful
price for it!!
It's a game.
You move, I move,
You move, I move.
Occasionally the moves are easy.
Usually, they're hard.
Sometimes I just want to
fold up the board and
put it away.
Stop the merry-go-round - - -
I wanna get off.
It's rather ironic, really.
As soon as I put away
my game,
Someone else pulls out their's.
